Salone del Mobile Report 2012, Ventura Lambrate
Milan, Italy

For the first time in five years Chi ha paura...? returned to the Salone del Mobile to present a selection of works from the core collection including recent additions from our latest project ‘Body Stories’.
Highlights included the very first CHP piece, Marc Newsons Orgone bracelet, the Marcel Wanders Nose and the Bone structures necklace by Campana brothers.
The presentation had to be airplane friendly so by design of Gijs Bakker the show was set up with simple steel cables, hangers and crisp white shirts to display the jewellery – evoking the body, but also referring to Milan’s heritage as a fashion city.
With Ventura Lambrate being the Salone’s hot spot, Chi ha paura...? had over a thousand visitors a day. Many were excited to see us back in Italy and many more discovered us for the first time. Over six days CHP was sought out by designers, international press, museum curators, design collectors and of course, fans.

The aim of CHP is to bring the world of design together with production jewellery. Our visitors were happily surprised to learn that it was not just an exhibition of prototypes but a presentation of our sales collection. You could look, touch and HAVE!

The lowlight of our time at the Salone? Having to briefly close our space for the Italian forensic police after someone attempted to steal Tjep.'s Bling Bling!

Fortunately this event was easily outweighed by the overwhelmingly positive response to our presentation, great sales and the many visits by Chi ha paura...? designers.
Many thanks to our latte macchiato master at Caffe Del Borgo, to the most wonderful print shop in Milan, Graphidea, to all our fellow exhibitors at Undai 4 and especially thanks to everybody that visited us!
We will be in Milan again next year - Ciao, al prossimo anno!
